Christopher Hale brings to life Everitt the Butcher in Bloody Mary staged by Third Man Productions in “A Comedy of Tragic Proportions.” Nominated for four New York Innovative Theater Awards, the play romps through the court of Mary Tudor, daughter of Henry VIII, in a manic display of politics, preening and skullduggery at the Clement Soto Velez Cultural Center. According to Hale, “Naturally, this is a farce, historically based, with Henry VIII, a dead wife or two, his daughter Mary, and sundry sycophants and slouches such as myself as Everitt. Plus don’t forget various whores, princes, monks, Jews, heretics, doctors and His Holiness − some of whom are me as well.”
